In celebration of Gynecologic Cancer Awareness month, Color of Teal welcomes you to its 3rd Annual Teal Affair/Gynecologic Cancer Expo on September 27, 2014, at Hunter College, 695 Park Avenue, New York, New York.


Attending guests will enjoy an assortment of beverages, desserts, food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  Event host and breast cancer survivor, Nadine McGrath, will welcome participants as they were addressed by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's, Dr. Carol Brown, M.D. and Advance Medical Group's Dr. Kameelah Phillips, M.D. Cancer survivors Tierre Tates, (founder of Teal is a Big Deal), Michele Appel Prigo, (New York Chapter Leader of National Cervical Cancer Coalition) and Anje Collins, (co-founder of Women in PR) will share their testimonies of Strength, Support, and Survival. Guests will be treated to a live performance by musician Anhayla, and an animation depicting the six types of gynecologic cancers and HPV will be provided by Greg Valentine Animations. The evening’s event will include fashion pieces from featured designers Robert E. Knight, Pink Ladybug Collection, Big Girls United (B.G.U.), Lillie Designs , and cervical cancer survivor Pink Sorbie.

Donations and proceeds raised from this event benefited the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center: Gynecology Department and the TEAL Care Co-Pay Assistance Program for Women.
